This convenient nursery location offers a full selection of shade and flowering trees, Japanese maples, shrubs, groundcovers, and perennial and annual flowers, as well as garden tools, topsoils and planting mixes, mulches, fertilizers, and pesticides. Yes, everything you'll need to plant and care for your lawn and garden. This nursery serves Burtonsville, Columbia, Laurel, Beltsville, and nearby areas. 

Some Unique Information at our Burtonsville Locations:

Meadows Farms in Burtonsville has been serving the area since 1982.

Come visit us for quality plants and friendly service.  We also have a large garden center for indoor shopping and old style glass greenhouse, full of tropicals, houseplants, and other flowering plants.

If you're considering a project, come visit with Joy, our landscape designer, on Saturdays from 10-4 and Sundays12-4 for ideas or help with landscaping planning. She can set you up for a complete landscape installation, or put you on the right path to a do-it-yourself project you can be proud of.

WE are all canine enthusiasts here at the Burtonsville nursery, and we encourage our customers to bring their dogs - we often have "treats" and always have fresh water!

Fall is For Planting!

Looking for fall color?  We have plenty of mums, pansies and ornamental grasses to choose from.  Don't forget to check us out for halloween decorations, pumpkins, gourds and much, much more!

Manager:  Debbie Downs

Debbi grew up in nearby Scaggsville and has been in the nursery buisness for

25 years, all but 2 of those with Meadows Farms.  She now resides in Gambrills and enjoys experimenting with plants in her garden.  Her favorite plant is any Hinoki Cypress and any spare time she has is spent with her daughter and dog, a Basenji.

Assistant Manager:  Carlos Ortega

Carlos has worked for Meadows Farms for 10 years, starting as a part-time high school student, and coming up through the ranks, following in the footsteps of his brother and former employee Roger.  He is originally from Nicaragua, but grew up in the Rockville, MD. area.  His dog of choice is a "minpin" or miniature pincer.

Assistant Manager:  Holly Sernulka

Holly Sernulka grew up in the Ellicott City area and currently resides in Laurel.  This is her fifth year at Meadows Farms Nursery, her third year as a manager.  She currently owns an English Bulldog and a Pug named Violet and Daisy.  She hopes to get a French Bulldog puppy soon to add to her family and name her Lily.
