Yes, everything you'll need to plant and care for your lawn and garden. This nursery serves Frederick, Braddock Heights, Fort Detrick, Middletown, Burkittsville,Ijamsville, and nearby areas.

Back ground:Automotive ,sales,farming,construction.

Orinially from: Rockville MaryLand but have lived in Frederick County for 32 years pretty much makes me a native.

Hobbies  and interests:  Hiking,fishing, Gardening, Road and Mountain Biking,camping with and without Horses. Raising,training and riding horses.Traveling.

Favorite plant: Crape Myrtles and Weeping Japanese Maples.

Frederick Store was opened on March 19th 1990. This location has always been a Nursery.

Frederick has many unique events in  our area. Still a rural community at heart with many acres of farm land still being tilled. There are always events going on at the local fair grounds. In spring and fall every little town and community has festivals going on. There are several State Parks in our area that can be used from everything from walking to biking,swimming,horse back riding,camping,fishing.

 Key members of Satff :

Mandy Weitzel :  Mandy started as a teenager / p/t cashier then went off to College after  graduating she returned to us as an Assistant Manger.She by far is the Annual and Perennial expert at our store.

Alex Hewitt: Also an Assistant Manager, came to us from a competitor one day .He has gone to school for landscape Design and is very knowledgeable and helpful to all of our customers, as well as us at the nursery.

Steve Eaves: Assisant manager grew up working at his father's nursery and so has been around the nursery industry pretty much all of his life .

We have a very knowledgeable and helpful group of people here to serve all of your Landscaping and yard work needs. 

We also hire local teenagers from our area and are very proud of how polite and helpful they are.  I receive some very nice compliments about them, and this makes me very happy in this day and age.

We also as of last year can now offer planting of the one or two,or more plants that you purchase from us, our Meadows Farms Grounds Maintenace Divison now covers most of Frederick County.
