Hello, and welcome to the spring of 2013. My name is Butch Trent and I am the new head manager at the Severna Park location. This is my eleventh year with Meadows Farms and I will be proud to be serving you and the community in any way possible. I have lived in Severna Park area for the past eleven years and that makes it much more exciting to assist with your needs. I was a professional baseball umpire for six years before finding my calling in the nursery industry. I attended Longwood College where I played baseball for three years. I received my associates degree from Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, VA and went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University where I majored in criminal justice. I have a passion for the outdoors and live for the sight of freshly budding and blooming plants. Spring is in the air and you can feel it.
We have a knowledgeable staff on sight. My 1st assistant manager is Kevin Godio and my 2nd assistant manager is Jay Connolly. Both are Severna Park natives and are willing and able to serve you in any capacity. Please feel free to burden us with any wants, needs, or concerns that you may have. We are here to serve you in the most professional way possible. And if we do not have the answer to your questions here at our nursery, we will surely find you a solution using one of our other 21 locations.
Once again, spring is upon us and the time is now. The azaleas, forsythia, cherry trees, rhododendrons, etc are starting to bloom as we speak. Come on out, even if it is to just take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. We are looking forward to the upcoming year and hope to meet your expectations.
