Course Conditions

Meadows Farms Golf Course trys to provide a fair and consistent playing area. The following are udated conditions. Conditions can change rapidly in some cases. Feel free to call the pro shop at (540) 854-9890 for the very latest information.

The course is in good shape after the mild winter.  Everything is starting to look green and many plants are begining to bloom.  It has been relatively dry and the greens are rolling good.

Fairways: Good.  

Roughs: Thick and green.

Grass Types at Meadows Farms Golf Course

Greens: Penncross Bentgrass cut at 3/16"
Tees: Ryegrass cut at 1/2"
Fairways: Bermuda on Island and Waterfall 9's and Rye on Longest (Longest will be changed to Bermuda Spring 2012
Roughs: Fescue/Bluegrass mix cut at 2"
