Budget around $30,000 with a second phase for planting in the spring.
A deck was constructed to take advantage of the view overlooking a lake. Care was taken in the design phase to integrate the deck to the unique design of the rear of the house. Construction was complicated by the severe slope behind the house, which was uncompacted fill. The footers for the deck were dug to nearly ten feet deep.
