July\u2019s weather has been typical, with the heat index rising and high humidity levels. I have to say that we are fortunate in that Mother Nature has helped with some timely rainfall. But we need to learn good watering practices.<\/p>\n<p>Good watering practices will result in healthy plants. This is the bottom line. If you need to learn more about the dos and don\u2019ts of proper watering, see me this coming Saturday.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">WATERING SEMINAR<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SATURDAY, JULY 22 @ 10:00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">IT\u2019S FREE!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bring all your gardening and plant questions. We will conduct this seminar rain or shine (a little Doug gardening humor that I could not resist). I say this because we can not rely on Mother Nature to water our plants during these hot summer months.<\/p>\n<p>Generally, good, regular watering practices are essential for producing healthy plants. This includes healthy vegetables and fruits. On Saturday, we will share tips on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HOW TO WATER<\/li>\n<li>WHEN TO WATER<\/li>\n<li>WHERE YOU WATER<\/li>\n<li>WHAT TO USE TO PROPERLY WATER PLANTS<\/li>\n<li>WATERING CONTAINER GARDENS<\/li>\n<li>and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proper watering techniques will help you to become a more water-wise gardener.<\/p>\n<p>So, see me this Saturday, July 22, at 10:00 am, and let\u2019s learn about implementing good watering habits for the health of our plants.\u00a0 At the same time, learn how proper watering will ultimately help protect this natural resource\u2014water.<\/p>\n<p>Just food for thought: what water we have here on Earth is all we have.
