The long, HOT summer is coming to an end. Soon, it will be time for cool nights, hoodies, pumpkin spice, and everything else! We’re making our transition into fall here at Meadows Farms Frederick. We’re finishing up some summer projects that will make shopping a little easier for you, and we’re getting geared up for our Fall Festival.
Our fall shipping is underway. We’ve cleared off our perennial tables to make room for fresh perennials for the sun and shade, a large selection of grasses, and our American Beauties line of Native Plants. After the hot summer, these perennials will be just what your gardens need to add some color that will last for years. Fall is the perfect time for planting trees and shrubs. We still have a great selection and will start bringing in new material for fall planting any day now. Whether you’re looking to do a foundation planting in front of your house or plant a row of screening evergreens, we will have everything you need. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the right plants for your situation and will make sure you have everything you need to be successful.
OUR FALL FESTIVAL WILL BE BACK THIS YEAR! We will have our Moon Bounce again this year, along with our new and improved maze. Our climbing wall will be back, along with lots of other games and activities for kids of all ages. As always, we will have our full line of fall produce, including pumpkins, gourds, exotic and heirloom pumpkins, mini-pumpkins, cornstalks, and much more. We will have everything you need to create a spectacular display for your fall festivities at home.
As always, we will be offering our full line of your favorite fall annuals, along with some different options for fall color that perhaps you had never considered before! We will have mums in multiple sizes for planting of any size. We will have Pansies available in flats and 4-inch pots early in the fall, and we will transition into our fully grown, 6’ Pansies as the season goes on. We will have ornamental cabbages and kales in many different colors and varieties available throughout the fall season, along with a line of premium 8’ Fall annuals that will provide color leading into the cold nights late in the season.
