It’s hard to believe that summer is already gone and we are moving on to fall! We are certainly looking forward to some cooler temperatures, fall planting, and all our fall festivities here at Meadows Farms Frederick! We’re stocked up and ready for all your fall planting needs. We’ve received multiple trucks of fresh outdoor material, our tables are filled with fresh perennials and fall annuals, and our fall produce will be arriving any day now.
Our American Beauties line of Native Plants is restocked with new selections and fall bloomers. Our “Deerlerious” line of deer resistant perennials is back for fall. Perennials are a great way to add fall color that will last for years to come and benefit all kinds of pollinators. Fall is the perfect time for planting trees and shrubs, and we’ve just re-stocked with lots of great options.
In honor of its 30th Anniversary, our fall festival will be Pokemon themed this year, we will have a large collection of Pokemon decorations and games, along with a GIANT Pokemon scarecrow! Our Moon Bounce will be back again, along with many other activities and games for kids of all ages. As always, we will have our full line of fall produce, pumpkins, gourds, exotic and heirloom pumpkins, mini-pumpkins, cornstalks, and much more. We will have everything you need to create a spectacular fall display for your fall festivities at home.
We have several great events planned this fall starting on September 12th with a NEW free Kid’s Craft making “petal prints”. We have a Fall Grab-N-Go workshop on September 26th where you will make and take your very own fall planter. Pumpkin painting is back by popular demand on 2 weekends this fall, October 3rd and October 10th, and as always, our Annual “Pink Day” event will be on October 10th! Be sure to stop in and see what’s new this fall at Meadows Farms Frederick!
