John Gebhardt

Store Manager

John Gebhardt is the longest-tenured nursery manager at Meadows Farms, having managed the Winchester, Virginia garden center since 1995. He first joined the company in February 1991 as a full-time laborer and today oversees every aspect of maintaining and caring for more than five acres of nursery stock and grounds, from hiring and scheduling to fostering teamwork and pride in a job well done. Over the years he has earned nearly every honor available to him, including multiple Nursery of the Year and Most Improved Nursery awards and repeated Manager of the Month and Manager of the Year recognition. Many of the practices he pioneered at his location have since become the standard across all Meadows Farms stores. A dedicated orchidophile, John also enjoys container gardening and growing unusual plant species.
