Since joining Meadows Farms in 2004, Jeremiah Hammerl has brought his lifelong passion for plants to every corner of the company. As In-House Plant Inspector, he ensures that every plant meets Meadows Farms’ high standards for quality and health. Jeremiah also manages the Pond Department, drawing on more than 20 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ponds and water features.
At home, Jeremiah’s green thumb is on full display, where he cultivates hundreds of orchids from around the world, with a special fondness for miniature varieties. His gardens also feature carnivorous plants, aquatic species, and a wide range of trees and ornamentals. Looking ahead, he’s eager to start beekeeping in spring 2026, calling himself, fittingly, a “wannabee.”
