Plants
Plants of all kinds make a great gift. The Great Big Greenhouse prides ourselves in carrying one of the most extensive selections of houseplants in Central Virginia. Most houseplants are called “clean air machines” because of their ability to purify the air in our home or office. As for outdoor planting, yes, it has turned colder but our soil is still warm enough to do some outdoor planting.
Vegetable Gardening
Vegetable gardening continues to grow in popularity as more and more people realize the benefits of homegrown vegetables and herbs. Right now we have our 2019 seeds available from Botanical Interest. These seed packs and seed supplies make great stocking stuffers.
Fairy Gardening
Fairy gardening has become very popular for “kids of all ages”. We carry a wide selection of small plants as well as all the miniature hardscaping pieces like trellises, chairs, figurines, and more to help accent your “one of a kind” fairy garden theme.
Bird Feeders
A bird feeder and some bird seed can make a great gift. We have a good selection of birdhouses and birdfeeders. We carry Wild Delight bird seed which is top of the line in my opinion. Personally, I find it very rewarding feeding the birds this time of year and being able to watch them out my windows.
